Insouciant Studios Hand Spun Silk Yarn Roses are...

This yarn started out as a red silk skirt, which I then re-made into a yarn, giving an old item new life. This is a singles yarn with a metallic gold filament wrap. This yarn also comes with a strip of the original silk skirt, for making into a ribbon rose (or any other flower you like) and a small vintage fabric leaf. I think this yarn will make (especially with the rose) an excellent hat.
