Insouciant Studios Hand Spun Sidewinder Yarn

Woolpops "Sidewinder" Yarn
This highly unusual yarn started as a pair of predominantly Targhee batts (from an award winning Targhee Ewe), one in yellow that includes some soysilk, and another in purple that includes some angelina. Once spun, the yellow was chain plied, and then plied with the purple two times--once from each direction. This has formed a yarn with a solid backbone of purple that cris-crosses out to surround the textured yellow strand.The name comes from the fantastic contrasting colors on theme park roller coasters--and fortunately, this yarn is just as dizzy-fun.
