Insouciant Studios Destiny Purple Jasper Brooch Pin

Insouciant Studios "Destiny" Purple jasper pendant, tidily bezel set in fine and sterling silver. This is a truly beautiful and unique free form piece of jasper, with rich purple, copper, maroon, and burgundy shadings. I originally envisioned this pin as a necklace, but no matter where I positioned the bail, it didn't look right. That's when I realized that this piece was never destined to become a pendant, it was always supposed to be a pin. The moment I realized that, the design came together very quickly. Of course, if you see this pin as a pendant, you can always close the pin backing, thread a necklace or ribbon through, and wear it as a necklace, too.

This pin would look fantastic on the lapel of a warm wooly coat, or on a button up blouse or t-shirt!
